About the film, Taapsee Pannu says: “This film is unique in a completely different way. People always come up to me when the script or director is ready to make a movie, but one line of the story fell on my knees in Chennai and it made me feel like a full-fledged movie from there and like no other.
Adding on she said, “I had no experience with the movie. From day one, everyone was so confident in the story that it has never been a difficult task to get every stack-owner to get hold of hands and give their best for this movie. So the result of this movie will impress me more than my other movies. Besides, I am extremely proud of it.”
